“Pet Fest 3” at Cauley Square Historic Railroad Village in south Miami-Dade County will provide some last minute quality time with the family’s pet before the rush of returning to school begins.
Honorary Inaugural Sponsors PETCO, Redland Animal Hospital and Pet Chamber of Commerce join vendors and exhibitors representing pet products and services as well as pet adoption organizations for “Pet Fest 3” on Sunday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The “Pet Parade” begins at 1 p.m. with all pets on leashes parading, starting at Cauley Square’s main entrance and ending at the entrance to the main patio where sponsors will judge the “Pet Pageant.”
Entries in the “Most Beautiful” and “Best Dressed” categories will be designated as first, second and third place finishers receiving official certificates, ribbons from Pet Chamber of Commerce, and winning owners will receive complimentary luncheon for two at the Village Chalet and Tea Room Restaurants at Cauley Square Village. Complimentary membership to the Pet Chamber of Commerce will be awarded additionally to the two finalists and winners in each category.
Special Sponsors Certificates of Excellence will be awarded to special entries.
Free pet gifts and pet toys will be available at the PETCO booth with special gifts, coupons and raffle drawings at the Redland Animal Hospital sponsor’s booth.
Open to the public, there is no entry fee and parking is free.
Cauley Square Historic Railroad Village is family friendly every day with pets welcome on leashes or caged as applicable all year long and pets may enjoy dining on the patio
with their humans at the Village Chalet and Tea Room restaurants seven days a week. The Latin Corner gazebo serves special Cauley Square hot dogs and fresh mixed fruit juices in a casual picnic setting.
