Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ School for Advanced Studies (SAS) recently received national recognition from Niche.com as one of the best schools in the nation.
The school received a school grade of A+ in the following categories: Academics, Student Culture, Teacher Quality, Resource and Facilities, Extracurricular Activities, and Educational Outcomes. SAS also is ranked the No. 1 Public High School in the State of Florida for the second year in a row by Niche.
Niche.com, formerly known as the College Prowler, provides online information services and runs a ranking and review site on thousands of public and private schools and districts across the country. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and student and parent reviews.
School for Advanced Studies is the Collegiate High School of Miami-Dade County Public Schools and is located on four campuses of Miami Dade College.
