Cornerstone United Methodist Church (formerly Cutler Ridge United Methodist Church) is having its annual “Country Craft Fair and BBQ” fundraising event on Saturday, Nov. 14, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Cornerstone United Methodist Church is located at the corner of Marlin Road and Old Cutler Road in Cutler Bay.

Miriam Bigenho, one of the fair organizers, said that it is a family-oriented event that is not to be missed.

“Our specialty is our delicious chicken dinner, consisting of a quarter piece of chicken, baked beans, corn on the cob, and a drink of your choice for only $6,” she said. “This dinner is served between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Also on the food list will be a hotdog lunch, homemade cinnamon buns, lots of baked goods, frito pies, chips, candy, soda and water.”

There will be lots of craft items for sale by participating vendors. Other fair activities will include free rides for the children and a deejay to provide music. The Redland Band and students from Mays Conservatory of the Arts will be performing as well.

For information call Miriam Bigenho at 305-233-7457.
