FLORIDA’S PALACE GROUP EMBRACES AGING HISPANIC POPULATION

Program will Feature Hispanic Residents Speaking About Their Roots, Journey to the USA, and Customs they Brought With Them;

Palace Kendall Campus, Miami (Kendall), FLA, Friday, Oct. 16; 6:00-7:30 PM

WHAT: Hispanics are the nation’s fastest growing population and innovative senior communities such as The Palace Group (www.ThePalace.org) are helping their residents to feel at home with events, food and lifestyle touches that remind them of home.

To that end, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, The Palace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Kendal Miami, will host a program featuring Hispanic residents on October 16 at 6:30. Aura Ocon, Tomas Rodriguez, Carmen Enciso, Rodolfo Ariano and Vera Borodowsky will talk about their roots, how and why they came to this country, and the customs they brought with them.

The event will feature the music, food, and clothing from their various Hispanic cultures and countries.
