Pink fire rescue trucks and South Florida firefighters dressed in pink will take over Dadeland Mall as part of the 2010 Pink HEALS Tour.
As one of the stops on this national tour, Dadeland Mall will help to raise cancer awareness and funds on Thursday, Sept. 23, from 2 to 5 p.m., in the parking lot in front of The Limited and Express.
“Dadeland Mall is the perfect backdrop for the 2010 Pink HEALS Tour,” said Humberto Maldonado, director of marketing and business development of Dadeland Mall. “We are proud to not only provide a great shopping and dining experience for the Miami community, but to also take part in raising awareness for important causes that affect so many in South Florida.”
Mall visitors will have the opportunity to interact with firefighters and police officers donning pink attire, learn more about the American Cancer Society and have the opportunity to purchase a Pink Fire Truck Organization T-shirt with proceeds helping to fund the Pink HEALS Tour which allows the pink fire trucks to continue on their mission of love and hope.
The Pink HEALS Tour is made up of pink fire rescue trucks that drive across America spreading awareness of breast cancer and rallying communities together to show support by wearing pink.
