“At Palmer Trinity School, we stress the value of giving back,” said Patrick Roberts, Palmer Trinity’s head of school. Our goal for our students is that they learn to become citizens of the world, and we couldn’t be more proud of Blake as he is recognized for those very qualities.”

Miller has been recognized for his work as president of Patriot Outreach, a student-run organization that collects used sports equipment, uniforms, and shoes from local high schools to be donated to children in the Dominican Republic. The collection drives take place three times a year and have collected more than 70,000 pieces of gear over the past 10 years.

A dedicated athlete, Miller plays on Palmer Trinity’s varsity baseball, varsity football and varsity basketball teams. He also isa 2016 Silver Knight Award nominee, and won Player of the Year and Top Rusher for 2A-5A schools in Miami-Dade County. Upon graduation Miller plans on attending the University of Miami to major in economics and sports administration.
