The Deering Estate schedules Ghost Tours during October

This October you can have your own paranormal experience at the Deering Estate Spookover or the Historic Ghost Stories Tour.

Hear about the sightings and experiences from the actual paranormal investigations of the estate, and experience for yourself evidence recorded on video, in photographs, and via audio recordings during the ongoing investigation of Miami’s most haunted property! Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 305-235-1668, ext. 233.

DEERING ESTATE SPOOKOVER
Experience the Deering Estate overnight when the lights are out on Friday, Oct. 9, 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.; tickets are $65. Agroup of volunteer Paranormal Investigators will take guests to the most active locations on the estate where you can investigate and attempt communication with the spirits that roam in the historic houses and main grounds. Equipment used to detect spectral presences — such as pendulums, dowsing rods, EMF meters, voice recorders and cameras are welcome.

This is not a sleepover. Investigations will be held overnight. Please dress comfortably and wear closed toe shoes. Bring a flashlight, mosquito repellant and any equipment you wish to use. Light snacks and refreshments are served. Tour may contain mature subject matter.

HISTORIC GHOST STORIES TOUR
Step into the past on Thursdays, Oct. 15 and 29, 7-9 p.m., as you listen to the stories of the Deering Estate’s previous inhabitants and paranormal visitors; cost is $30.

Hear about sightings and experiences from actual paranormal investigations of the historic Deering Estate. You will walk the paths of Native Americans, Miami’s early pioneers, and even Charles Deering himself. This tour includes walking around the historic homes at night. Please dress comfortably and wear closed toe shoes. Bring a flashlight, mosquito repellant and any equipment you wish to use. Tour may contain mature subject matter.
