Palmer Trinity celebrates 14th annual International Festival

Palmer Trinity celebrates 14th annual International FestivalIt was a beautiful day in Palmetto Bay for the 14th annual International Festival at Palmer Trinity School. Visitors enjoyed more than 60 unique food, student and vendor booths offering savory food choices and handicraft from around the world.

Each year, The International Festival marks Palmer Trinity’s vibrant multicultural community, as well as the commitment to global sustainability and environmental initiatives.

This year, visitors were treated to jazz and classical music, along with student dance and theatrical performances on the main stage. Students also took take part in the secind annual Indoor World Cup Soccer Game in the PTS gym.

Palmer Trinity celebrates 14th annual International FestivalThe main event of the day was the International Parade of Flags, which featured flags from more than 50 countries held by both Middle and Upper School students.

More than $23,000 was raised at this year’s festival, which supports Palmer Trinity School’s commitment to multicultural initiatives and diversity, student community service clubs and the school’s longstanding relationship with the Colombian children’s organization Fundación Nutrinfantil.
