Councilmember MacDonald named to NLC transportation panel

Village council member James MacDonald has been appointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) transportation infrastructure and services steering committee. The panel has responsibility for developing NLC federal policy positions on transportation issues. MacDonald also sits on transportation committees on the state and county levels and chairs the Miami-Dade County League of Cities transportation committee. MacDonald is an attorney and law professor at St. Thomas University. He is a former prosecutor and FBI agent, and was a staff attorney for the U.S. House of Representatives.
