Five-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Michael McDonald will appear in concert on Dec. 14 in the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
The concert is part of the Center’s 2013-14 Live at Knight series and McDonald will charm his audience with his repertoire of unforgettable solo hits, festive holiday songs and classic singles from his days as front man for The Doobie Brothers.
The concert is part of McDonald’s “This Christmas, An Evening of Holiday & Hits” tour. The curtain goes up at 8 p.m. Tickets are priced at $39.50, $59.50 and $79.50.

With a distinctive and soulful baritone voice known around the world, McDonald reached superstardom in the ’70s as a leading band member of Steely Dan and, later, with the Doobie Brothers. His successful career includes collaborations with some of the world’s most prominent artists, from Van Halen to Patti LaBelle.
