The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the Village of Pinecrest for the 19th consecutive year for its comprehensive annual financial report. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of government accounting and financial reporting and it represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
The 2014 certificate was presented to Village finance director Gary Clinton, who has prepared the report since 2002.
