Style Festival is returning to Dadeland on Saturday, July 11, from 1-6 p.m., in the second collaboration between Simon Malls and online fashion resource Refinery29 to transform the Mall shopping into a summer festival experience.
Free and open to the public, Style Festival at Dadeland Mall, in the Fashion Wing, Level 1, will offer a shoppable “Style Stage” curated by Refinery29 editors featuring select items from local boutiques and popular national retail brands, along with a “Beauty Stage” that includes a pop-up beauty bar and temporary tattoo parlor.
Attendees can also look forward to personalizing custom band-inspired tees at the “DIY Stage”, as well as a special musical performance by popular artist Twin Shadow, and DJ spinning tunes before and after the live performance.
Simon and Refinery29’s Style Festival is the go-to event for Miami fashionistas, beauty aficionados and music enthusiasts. The Style Festival will offer custom activations inspired by music festival culture that include fashion, beauty and fun.
This shoppable “stage” will be inspired by summer trends curated by Refinery29 editors such as “Jean Scene” and “Fringed Benefits” and feature select items from local boutiques and national retailers such as Vince Camuto, Style Mafia, Banana Republic, I Shine 365, Free People, Ohm Boutique, Ann Taylor, GUESS and more.
At the “Beauty Stage” a beauty team will be on hand at pop-up beauty bars to give shoppers festival-inspired hair trends that have been curated by Refinery29 editors. Festival-goers also will have the opportunity to select from a range of metallic, jewelry- inspired, temporary tattoos at the pop-up tattoo parlor courtesy of Flash Tattoo.
At the DIY Stage, guests at Style Festival can personalize custom bandinspired tour tees, taking home a keepsake souvenir from the experience.
