The family fun event benefits the CBC, which provides free peer support groups to children, teens, young adults and families after the death of a loved one. Attendees will run or walk through Zoo Miami.
Registration includes race participation, official timing, tee shirts, breakfast, festivities and entrance to the zoo for the day.
The event provides an opportunity for the community to come together and have fun while supporting a good cause.
The CBC has provided peer support groups in the community for 16 years and has expanded its services to Miami Shores and Broward County in partnership with V I T A S Healthcare. The CBC is South Florida’s only nonprofit bereavement and resource center helping children and their families after a loss. The CBC provides free support groups for more than 1,000 people each year.
