The South Miami Rotary Art Festival returns for its 31st year on the weekend of February 22-23, running each day from 10 am to 6 pm. The annual show continues to be one of the most popular and best attended events in the area.

“When the festival was started in 1984 by John Sorgie, owner of Sunset Quickprint and president of the Red Sunset Merchants Association. He saw the festival as an opportunity to bring shoppers into South Miami,”said Wendy G. Lapidus, Event Chair. Started as a small show with only 25 booths, it has grown into one of Miami-Dade’s most anticipated events.

The Festival features150 exhibits of fine arts and high-end crafts from around the country, multinational food, live music, a beer garden and great raffles. Admission is free and there is ample garage and on-street parking in this exciting area filled with historic buildings, trendy restaurants and unique shops.
