Partnership Allows Clementine to Provide Compassionate Care to More People Across the U.S.

Allowing more families access to its quality of care for girls aged 13–17 suffering from eating disorders, Clementine – part of the acclaimed Oliver-Pyatt Centers in South Miami – is now a contracted partner with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Clementine is situated in a lush, private residential area within an intimate home setting.

Clementine is a unique program that blends a variety of treatment modalities, providing comprehensive and innovative care to clients and parents, while helping clients feel safe enough to explore any issue that may be impede recovery. One of the cornerstones of its treatment philosophy is working with families. By participating in on-site or remote family therapy, and on-site multi-parent group weekly, families remain connected to their daughter’s recovery, while receiving meaningful support.

The Clementine program’s treatment is therapeutically grounded, incorporating state-of-the-art approaches, research, outcome data and up-to-date medical knowledge, and is creative and flexible. The program’s bilingual multidisciplinary team takes a holistic approach to get patients on the path to long-term health and a sustained recovery.

The program offers residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. Care includes:

  • Comprehensive integrative medical and psychiatric care with on-site medical oversight and nursing (residential and partial hospitalization program)
