Acupuncture and Herbal Remedies is a clinic dedicated to holism. Recently opened for business on July 13, 2013. Carlos A. Alea A.P. is the founder and acupuncturist. He has been practicing Oriental Medicine for about five years. In the years of his studies, he had the opportunity to embark on an internship in Shuguang Hospital, located in Shanghai, China. This is what he had to say about his time as an intern, “I was astounded to see the amount of people treated via acupuncture and Chinese herbal formulas, used for many different types of health complaints. In this particular hospital Oriental and Conventional Medicine are part of their routine services that are provided for sick patients. They have the option to receive, the best treatment possible, for their conditions. The end-goal? To achieve optimal health.”
After working with practitioners involved in the professional health care setting, Carlos obtained the experience and knowledge that lead his practice of acupuncture to a clear methodological system. With this in mind Acupuncture and Herbal Remedies was formed.
