Alhambra Orchestra, with piano soloist Mia Vassilev and conductor Timothy Shade, presents a pops concert, titled “From Broadway to Hollywood,” featuring music from Les Mis, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Lord of the Rings, plus George Gershwin’s jazzy Piano Concerto in F, on Sunday, Feb. 28, 7:30 p.m., in the lush tropical setting of Pinecrest Gardens.
Alhambra Orchestra, now in its 26th season, is a non-profit community orchestra made up primarily of volunteer musicians. Its mission is to support classical music and music education in our community.
