Chamber South Business Expo promotes ‘keep it local’ idea

Chamber South is hosting their 15th Annual Chamber South Business Expo on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Datran Center Atrium in Dadeland.

Free to the community, this event offers local businesses the opportunity to exhibit and promote their wares while reminding residents to “keep it local” support our community businesses.

“Shopping locally strengthens our local economy and our community,” said Joann Parns, Chamber South board chair. “Often we forget the many wonderful businesses that we can buy from right here in our South Miami- Dade neighborhoods.”

The expo boasts close to 100 exhibitors, complimentary hors d’oeuvres from local eateries, cash bar, music, and much more.

The event is slated to include a “technology alley” for tech businesses of all kinds to share the latest in technology driven must-haves. The Datran Center Atrium is an ideal location for the Business Expo thanks to its proximity to the Dadeland South Metrorail station and the various offices located throughout. The Datran Center is adjacent to the Miami Dadeland Marriott.

The 15th annual Chamber South Business Expo is sponsored by Chamber South partners Baptist Health South Florida, SpiderBoost Interactive Agency, 880 AM The Biz, CBT College, First National Bank of South Miami, Frames USA & Art Gallery, The Miami Herald, and many others. The Expo is made possible by the Chamber South Small Business Committee in partnership with the Datran Center. For more information contact Chamber South at 305-661-1621.
