The Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) Board of Directors voted unanimously at its board meeting on Mar. 24 to extend the open enrollment period for its new MDX Advantage Program Platinum membership, allowing the public an additional 30 days to register to earn cash rebates on tolls.
MDX Advantage is a free program that offers a variety of benefits to SunPass customers who use MDX expressways. The program is MDX’s way of showing appreciation to drivers who frequently use MDX expressways to commute in Miami- Dade County. The program is free and there is no cost to register or participate.
Benefits of the MDX Advantage Program include the opportunity to earn cash rebates for frequent SunPass customers, a free discount card good for purchases at participating retailers in Miami- Dade County including Domino’s, Dunkin’ Donuts and Jiffy Lube. MDX Advantage members also receive a free eNewsletter providing the latest information about MDX projects, community events and initiatives, contracting opportunities and more.
By becoming a Platinum level member, frequent users of MDX expressways will be eligible to receive up to $30 in rebates each quarter starting on July 1.
“The MDX Advantage Program is a benefit to this community,” said Maritza Gutiérrez, chair of the MDX Board of Directors. “We felt it was important to extend the open enrollment period to give the community additional time to register and take advantage of the program.”
