New Neighbors Club lunch topic is highway safety

Highway safety is a common concern among drivers in South Florida. Negotiating the busy roads and highways can be a daunting task and sometimes a dangerous one, and it takes special skills and knowledge to remain safe.

Join the New Neighbors Club of South Florida on Wednesday Mar. 9, for lunch with guest speaker Jose Sanchez, Florida Highway Patrol public information officer, as he discusses highway safety and accident prevention.

The luncheon and program take place at Devon’s Seafood + Steak, located at 11715 Sherri Lane in The Palms at Town and Country Center in Kendall. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. allowing time to socialize before the luncheon and program.

The cost of this event is $23 (pay by check). Reservations are required, by email to <ritafosse@yahoo.com> or call to 786-250-4849 no later than 6 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 5.
