Jordan Perlmutter and Pam Wendt were named the two outstanding staff members for October at First National Bank of South Miami, as announced by Veronica Flores, executive vice president, who makes the monthly awards for outstanding service.
Jordan “Jody” Perlmutter, Commercial Lender, Senior Vice President at First National Bank of South Miami is responsible for developing and managing commercial loans. Flores said Jody’s lending expertise has helped the bank strengthened its commercial loan portfolio, noting that it exemplified the bank’s mission statement: “Superior service provided by local Professionals that you can trust.”
Over the last 13 years, Perlmutter has been an integral part of the FNBSM family, “a knowledgeable lender who I am proud to call my friend,” she added. “He is our Mr. South Miami!” As “Officer of the Month”, Perlmutter received six personalized 30-minute fitness sessions from Fitness Together.
Pam Wendt, Assistant Operations Manager, was recognized as “Staffer of the Month” for her dedication, loyalty and outstanding job performance.
In thanking the bank officers for the award, Wendt said “It has been great working here the last 30 years, especially now with the Falls Branch opening. It is really fun to see it come alive.”
Wendt who joined First National in October 1979 as proof supervisor “has consistently demonstrated willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities, and is a proven and critical asset to the bank. She is always positive and helpful,” said Flores. Wendt works closely with the Operations Manager, overseeing the daily functions of the Operations Department.
Her award also included six personalized 30-minute fitness sessions, courtesy of Scott Baumann who said “Fitness is important in many aspects of life. It is the key to good health, which affects how you live your life.”
