Ros-Lehtinen given ‘Guardian of Seniors Rights’ award

Pictured is 60 Plus Association Chairman Jim Martin presenting the coveted Guardian of Seniors’ Rights award to Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen at a ceremony in Washington. Ros-Lehtinen was given the award because of her commitment to the elderly. The 60 Plus Association, now in its 19th year, is a national non-partisan organization advocating lower taxes and an adherence to the U.S. Constitution. The organization presents Guardian awards to Democrats and Republicans based on their pro-senior views and legislative initiatives. Martin cited Ros-Lehtinen for “her commitment to look out for America’s greatest generation, as well as the congresswoman’s promise to always work to preserve Medicare and Social Security for future retirees, our children and grandchildren.”
