The South Florida Sports League understands that summer vacation may not be as relaxing as it sounds to working parents who must decide where to bring their children while they are at the office. In an effort to keep parents as stress-free as possible, the South Florida Sports League offers the Musketeers Summer Camp is guaranteed to keep everyone happy this summer. Registration for this program now online via www.sfsl.org .
The Musketeers Summer Camp is designed to provide opportunities for children to encounter new challenges, experience success, develop leadership, improve self-esteem, and build life skills. Plus, children will gain friendships with others that will last for years to come.
“We designed the summer programs with the parents in mind who attempt to balance their concern for safety and affordability with their children’s desire to have fun during their summer vacation,” said Executive Director and Founder, Guillermo M. Chacon. “We want parents to feel good about enrolling their children in our programs, but we also want the kids to feel good about coming and participating each day.”
The Musketeers Summer Camp is for children ages 5 to 14 and runs from June 14 through July 30th. Each camp day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., but in an effort to accommodate all parents, extended hours beginning at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. are offered free of charge.
The Camp fees include: Camp, Lunch & Snacks, all Field trips and a Camp T-shirt. Campers participate in a variety of daily activities including crafts, games, and sports such as baseball, flag football and dodgeball. The camp also provides youngsters with a unique opportunity to connect with their local community with field trips to locations such as Grapeland water park, Venetian Pool, Crandon Park, The Miami Seaquarium, and Jungle Island to name a few. Our camp is located at Saint Theresa Catholic School 2701 Indian Mound Trail Coral Gables, FL 33134.
