‘All that Jazz’

The fifth annual Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest will be held Oct. 12-14 headlined by renowned performers including David Benoit, Ira Sullivan, Rose Max and Ramatis Brazilian Jazz, Dorio Ferreira and the Tony Sona Trio with a special appearance by Gail Robin – but before all the festivities begin, here are some new twists on some old favorites to help get everyone jazzed up for the big event…

Even Sarah Vaughan would share in the fever-pitch excitement growing as jazz fans anticipate attending the Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest the city is producing in partnership with the Sunny Isles Beach Tourism and Marketing Council to benefit Joshua’s Heart Foundation.

Louis Armstrong definitely would have been inspired to sing about the wonderful Jazz Fest event promising to attract local audiences, tourists plus “Girls (and guys) from Ipanema” coming from all around the world.

Ella Fitzgerald would agree the Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest is a “lovely” way to celebrate the extraordinary, diverse sounds of jazz music and garner international acclaim for the city! Just like “That Old Black Magic” the city will miraculously make the most talented celebrity jazz entertainers appear including contemporary jazz pianist and composer David Benoit, famous for “Feelin’ It” – his #1 hit on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Charts.

Miles Davis would have loved singing about Sunny Isles Beach – where it always feels like summertime and the livin’ is easy year round thanks in part to events like the Jazz Fest – designed to help promote tourism and add to the city’s calendar of exciting cultural events. “FEELING GOOD” –

Nina Simone would especially appreciate all the special Jazz Fest events sure to get everyone “feeling good” like the Sunday Jazz Brunch at Solé on the Ocean.

Benny Goodman would surely have joined in singing the praises of Sunny Isles Beach; Dizzy Gillespie would have given up “A Night in Tunisia”; and Duke Ellington would have loved to “Take the A Train” to get to the city in time for the Jazz Fest Oct. 12-14!
