Green Market Season Extended
The City of Aventura will extend its Green Market schedule through May of 2017. The market will continue to be located at Founders Park South and will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following Sundays: April 2, April 23, May 7 and May 21.
The popular Green Market fosters community and supports small businesses with a host of vendors including orchid sellers, fruit and vegetable farmers, and specialty food producers.
Founders Park South is located at 3105 NE 190 Street directly across from the Founders Park entrance. Parking is available at both Founders Park and Founders Park South.
Spring Membership Special
The City of Aventura announces the Community Recreation Center’s spring membership special for current and new members from Monday, March 20 through Wednesday, May 31. Purchase a 6-month membership and receive a complimentary 6-month membership.
Members enjoy a variety of benefits including an indoor basketball and volleyball court; a technical and fitness center with a waterfront view; free classes, yoga, body sculpting, bridge, and mahjong, as well as a host of other classes and activities for all ages.
Membership registration is accepted in person only at the following facilities:
• Community Recreation Center, 3375 NE 188 Street
• Founders Park, 3105 NE 190 Street
• Waterways Park, 3301 NE 213 Street
