Once again, the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce invited other business organizations to partner with them on their bi-annual Business EXPO at the Newport Beachside Hotel, and the results were outstanding! Working with the Greater North Miami Beach Chamber; Greater North Miami Chamber and FIU Alumni Association, exhibitors were invited to participate with display tables promoting their goods or services.
The entire Newport team worked together to accommodate all the logistic and catering details, and special thanks were given to their new General Manager Jon Kranock, Sales & Marketing Director Deanna Sylvestri, Catering Director Maria Medina, Conferences Services Manager Angie Solis, and Maitre d’ Vladimir Michelle. Hotwire Communications wired the Atlantis Ballroom for the EXPO so everyone using the Internet would be able to enjoy top speeds, reaching well over 200 mbps. Music, sound and special lighting effects were provided by HNO Productions for the second consecutive year. And almost 50 exhibitors were there to take advantage of great one-on-one networking.
Almost 150 businesspeople who attended the EXPO not only had the opportunity to meet and talk to all the EXPO exhibitors, but also to win door prizes brought in by the exhibitors. The evening’s grand door prize was the weekend at the Newport accompanied by dinner for two at Kitchen 305, and the Newport’s Seven Seas Spa added in a gift certificate as well.
