Last night, KAR Properties LLC, a New York-based real-estate development and investment firm, celebrated the sales launch and the grand opening of its gallery for 2000 Ocean, the only new beachfront development north of Golden Beach, the exclusive enclave of residential beachfront homes.  2000 Ocean represents an unprecedented opportunity to join a select few owners in a boutique resort-style development along the Atlantic coastline. Expansive residences combined with a host of amenities offer the ultimate in beachfront living for a discerning clientele.

During the invitation-only private event, the developer, along with the exclusive sales team, Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, unveiled  the breathtaking state-of-the-art gallery. Guests included the world-renowned architect behind 2000 Ocean, Enrique Norten of TEN Arquitectos, international representatives of Minotti and Minotticucine, Howard M. Lorber, Chairman, Douglas Elliman Realty, LLC, Jay Phillip Parker, CEO of Douglas Elliman Florida, prospective buyers, brokers, and media. Attendees spent the evening enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, while experiencing the vision for the boutique, beachfront project through cutting-edge technology and VIP tours of the innovative 5,000-square-foot gallery.

2000 Ocean’s waterfront sales gallery showcases a 7.5-foot- scale model with three interactive video walls. The gallery provides guests the opportunity to experience the exquisitely designed residences and unobstructed panoramic views  through  Imerza software, a virtual reality application paired with Oculus Rift. This innovative technology allows guests to immerse themselves into these amazing residences in the sky, allowing them to view floor plans, videos, renderings and fact sheets in virtual space and through an interactive presentation. The Douglas Elliman Development Marketing team was also onsite to answer questions and discuss the exciting amenities, vision and design.

The developer, Shahab Karmely, and the development partners were on hand during the event  to answer questions regarding their concepts and forward-thinking design for the upcoming development.  Attendees experienced the premium finishes and fixtures during the VIP gallery tours. KAR Properties is partnering with the Minotti brand to offer the ultimate in elegant design for the interior and exterior spaces. The residences will be fully finished and furniture-ready with personalized interior design services and curated furniture collections specific to the units by Minotti SpA. Minotticucine curated custom designed all-stone kitchens and bathrooms. This will be the first time Minotti will provide their interior design style to a residential tower in the United States.

“We are thrilled to share our vision of what we believe is a unique synthesis of style, luxury and the ultimate in resort-style living,” said Shahab Karmely of KAR Properties. “2000 Ocean is setting the standard for future developments and will offer  an unparalleled quality of life for residents while enhancing the Atlantic Coastline.”

With prices starting at $2.8 million, 2000 Ocean will rise as a 38-story glass tower, including 64 residences which range from three to six bedrooms. The development will offer residents resort-style living, with amenities including biometric access to private elevator landings; two swimming pools; a freestanding spa pavilion with treatment rooms, a Hammam (steam bath) ice room and yoga room; and an oceanfront curated art library. All homes will be pre-wired for Savant systems for the ultimate technology.
