Looking Forward to Programs & Events in 2015

Sunny Isles Beach

While some classes, such as karate and yoga, continue through the month of December, many programs are on hiatus during the school break. Residents and members of the park should plan ahead and visit the reception desk at Pelican Community Park in the next two weeks to register themselves or their children for programs that begin in January. If classes fill up early, you may find yourself on a waiting list.

Directly after the New Year, renew you Driver’s License or Auto Tag at the convenient State of Florida MiniFlow – Licensing on Wheels at the Government Center on January 2 from 9:30am – 2:30pm. Then, bring the family out to a park on either Friday or Saturday night, January 2 or 3, to watch Earth to Echo at Family Movie Nights. The week of January 5 is busy beginning with a Blood Drive on January 6, Bingo on January 7 and the Mount Sinai Lecture on January 8. And be sure to reserve your spot for the January 13 showing of Casablanca at the Golden Era Movie at Pelican Community Park from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
