The City of Sunny Isles Beach recently held a Town Hall Meeting where residents were invited to contribute their thoughts and ideas on how to improve our City. We have also created a survey, which allows citizens to answer relevant questions to help us serve the community better.
In addition to these two initiatives we have added a new, temporary feature to our website called “Community Remarks.” Community Remarks utilizes GIS technology to crowd-source ideas in an open community forum. Users are able to add their ideas and feedback to a map of Sunny Isles Beach, which allows them to pinpoint the specific area they are referencing. If a comment doesn’t concern a specific location, users can also add feedback to a “General Comments” section.
Community Remarks is an open forum, so, it also allows for you to see other community members’ comments and suggestions. You can “like” or “dislike” another members comment, or even comment on their comment, similar to many social media sites.

It is our hope, that collecting your feedback will help us learn about the issues that are most important to our residents. We value our community’s feedback as we develop plans for the future of Sunny Isles Beach.
