Sunny Isles Beach Police Captain Snyder graduates from FBI National Academy

Congratulations are in order!

On December 16, 2012, 266 men and women proudly received their graduation certificates from the most prestigious National Academy (N.A.) of the F.B.I. at Quantico, VA. In all, 49 states were represented and (3) three military organizations. It was the end of an arduous and sometimes grueling 11 week program. But Captain Snyder persevered, applied himself and dedicated his efforts to the cause. In the end he was the proud recipient of an honor bestowed upon him as a graduate of the class of #247, N.A.

We as an agency missed him and his contributions to our police department. He was welcomed back heartily upon his return and the City Commission recognized him on January 19, 2012 at their meeting.

Captain Snyder also successfully completed the Yellow Brick Road, an infamous obstacle course that one must successfully complete at the end of the term in order to receive an individual, personalized Yellow Brick. Captain Snyder’s “Brick” proudly sits in the police trophy case at the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department.

Congratulations Captain Snyder and welcome home.
