Supporters of The American Red Cross Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter, along with future attendees of the 33rd Annual American Red Cross Ball, presented by FPL, attended an invitation only soiree kicking off the fundraising efforts for the main event on March 14, 2015. The evening was co-hosted by Eilah Beavers, Swanee DiMare, Marile Lopez, Bronwyn Miller and Irene Korge, who also hosted the event at her private residence. Guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and participated in a silent auction featuring an exclusive item by Christofle, the legendary French manufacturer of fine silver flatware and home accessories.

The 2015 Gala Committee Chairs, Jorge Luis and Marile Lopez, announced the 2015 Ball Committee during this event. The ball was started in 1982 by a group of socially prominent women volunteers; their tradition continues today with a committee of steadfast leaders who work tirelessly to support and deliver the American Red Cross mission.

The American Red Cross Ball is one of South Florida’s most prestigious social fundraising events. Every year, more than 500 prominent leaders of the South Florida social and corporate communities attend this recognized event. The goal of the 33rd Annual American Red Cross Ball presented by FPL is to help build awareness and provide financial support for the Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter of the American Red Cross.
