The City of West Park is partnering with the Florida Department of Transportation to provide street improvements along SW 56th Avenue from County Line Road to Pembroke Road. These improvements will enhance the corridor by constructing the following: new sidewalk, asphalt resurfacing, traffic calming median, intersection treatment, ornamental streetlights, bike lanes, transit shelters and landscaping.
On Wednesday, June 27, the City held a Public Workshop to provide project information and gather input from our residents and local businesses. The project is still in the design phase and construction is scheduled to commence in 2013.
