Bigger is better is the feedback from The Palace Coral Gables’ prospective residents and in response new penthouse apartments have been incorporated into the luxury senior living rental community in Coral Gables.
The three top floors of the nine-story highrise have been redesigned to offer penthouse apartments of 1,350 square feet.
“Our research with prospective customers is indicating people want more spacious residences. They are moving to The Palace Coral Gables from larger condominiums and homes in the area and don’t want to sacrifice square footage for lifestyle,” explained Adam Rosenblum, vice president of marketing for The Palace Group, owners and operators of the community.
“To meet this demand, we are able to combine units to offer greater square feet. The new penthouse floor plans offer two bedrooms, two baths and great room,” he added.
Typically, Palace Coral Gables residences range from 476 to 1,110 square feet for studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments — all of which have been very popular, based on the community’s success and receptiveness.
The Palace Coral Gables caters to affluent older adults and offers world-class amenities and services. According to Rosenblum, the community can be compared to the cruise ship industry where different levels of cruise ships appeal to the evolving demographics of customers.
“It’s no longer sufficient to explain that a community offers peace of mind and security,” Rosenblum added. “This customer wants what they want and are willing to pay for the best. Our community is second to none. There is live entertainment every night including Sundays as well as activities at 8 p.m. when many senior living communities are quiet.
He said a partnership with the University of Miami’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute brings college-level classes to residents as well as an activity calendar full of fitness, intellectual, cultural and social offerings.
The Palace Coral Gables draws its inspiration from the luxury hotel, the magnificent Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. In addition to its many awards, it was named Best Independent Living Community in the Country by the National Association of Home Builders.
The Leasing office for The Palace Coral Gables is open daily within the building at One Andalusia Avenue and offers visitors the opportunity to meet with leasing specialists and learn about the community.
