U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Homestead Job Corps Center (HJCC) held its Commencement Ceremony on Friday, March 20, 2015. Graduates were encouraged and overjoyed by the words of Keynote Speaker, Jim Berry, weeknight Sports Anchor for CBS4 News. Berry encouraged the graduates to make certain promises: keep it real (integrity), keep it moving (progress), keep it challenging (don’t underestimate yourself), keep it funny and keep it faithful. Support from friends, family, staff and community members warmed the hearts of the graduates. Federal, state and local government supporters were on hand to offer their congratulations.
