The Silver Palm United Methodist Choir and other singers will present their 2015 patriotic program, “Stars and Stripes Forever,” on Friday, May 29, 7 p.m., at the church, 15855 SW 248 St. (not Silver Palm/ 232nd Street). The program will include many of your old favorite patriotic songs.
Joining the choir will be the Homestead Air Reserve Base Color Guard and the church’s award-winning Boy Scout Troop 69.
Active and retired military personnel, police, firefighters and other emergency response personnel are invited to wear their uniforms. You will be recognized. All others are invited to wear red, white and blue and to bring small flags to wave in honor of the United States of America.
The event is open free to the public.
