The Doral Business Council and the National Association of Professional Women joined forces to hold a networker graciously hosted by Carolina Ale House in Doral.
The event offered an opportunity to raise funds for A Safe Haven for Newborns, one of the participating charities involved with the Scoops of Hope breakfast hosted by the Westin Colonnade to aid local non-profits and Give Kids the World Village in Orlando. A raffle that evening included tickets to the breakfast that helped raise additional funds for Safe Haven and GKTW.
The DBC’s new office manager, Maria Yolanda Padron, helped check everyone in and provided information for prospective members invited to attend the affair. Among the many enjoying the evening were NAPW Regional Director Aly Ramos of QueBelle Events; Marti Bueso of Home Financing and A Safe Haven for Newborns; Maria Martinez, Team Concepts; Marianella Watanabe, Comcast Business; NAPW’s Lisa Elliott; Martica Verdeja, Martica’s Sweet Creations; Dr. Lawrence Schiffman, Miami Skin Doctor; and Mary Nelson, All Insurance Services, to mention a few.
The event is one of many held by the DBC over the summer to benefit its membership.
