Autism Speaks S. Florida to host fifth annual galaThe fifth annual Puzzle Pieces of Our Community Gala, themed “ABlue Night in Cairo” will recognize the exceptional individuals and corporations for their exemplary leadership and commitment to the autism and local community.
The gala will take place on Oct. 17 at the InterContinental Miami, 100 Chopin Plaza. All proceeds from the gala will directly benefit Autism Speaks. Guests are asked to wear semi-formal attire. A cocktail reception and silent auction is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. Dinner, live auction, entertainment, and honoree presentation will take place from 8 to 10 p.m.
This year’s keynote speaker and honoree will be Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, a big supporter of Autism Speaks mission in the community. The gala also will honor Juan N. Cento, regional president of FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division (LAC) for his many years of support of Autism Speaks in South Florida.
For the second year in a row, South Florida Ford is the presenting sponsor.
