On November 25, at Saint John’s AME Church, located at 6461 SW 59 Place, The Dade County Police Benevolent Association, in conjunction with The South Miami Police Department, gave out 300 holi- day turkey meals to residents who otherwise would not have had a special dinner for Thanksgiving.
These meals were provided to Pastor Rodney James of the AME Church and distributed to families within the South Miami area.
The Miami-Dade County PBA and South Miami Police Department have always been committed to making a difference and expressing gratitude by giving back to others in need.
