Dear Friends,
Miami’s Community Newspapers is producing a special publication celebrating Vizcaya’s centennial.
We will explore all the glorious history of this National Historic Landmark found in our own backyard, as well as the exciting programs, events and exhibitions happening at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens today.
It was 100 years ago that James Deering built and came to reside at Vizcaya, his winter home. Originally a 180 acre estate, today residents and visitors enjoy 50 acres encompassing the Main House, gardens, a rockland hammock and Vizcaya Village.
First opening as a museum in 1935, and later as the Dade County Art Museum in 1953, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens was honored 1979 by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
In todays over saturated, splintered media market, one way to make sure your advertising message connects with people is to place it in a special issue like this one.
In addition to our regular distribution, the paper will be handed out to visitors and guests of Vizcaya throughout their centennial events and celebrations.
