For the past eleven years, Rick Tonkinson and Associates have supported the Homestead Rodeo. The Tonkinson’s were delighted to participate once again this year as the sponsor of the Bareback Riding Event, one of the most thrilling events of the show. While Rick and his family enjoy the excitement and fun associated with the Rodeo events, they also lend their support because of a desire to support a home town, family oriented event where Rick Tonkinson and his financial planning firm have helped families for the last 20 years.
In fact, this family owned business actually began its relationship with the Rodeo through a client connection. That relationship began through one of Rick’s oldest clients, an FPL employee who worked at Turkey Point and was a member of the Homestead Rodeo Association. Since 1991, Tonkinson has been the financial advisor for several employees at Turkey Point. Many of those clients had spouses who worked for Bell South; so, Bell South employees also became clients.
