In the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in 1992, there arose a great need for neighbors to help their neighbors recover. And thus was born Neighbors 4 Neighbors, working closely with CBS4. Neighbors 4 Neighbors is now a nationally recognized nonprofit, whose mission is to connect those in need with those who can help. Using a combination of resource development, collaboration with service providers and the power of media, they empower neighbors to use the talents, time and money they have to help others. In 2015, Neighbors 4 Neighbors developed and delivered $884,000 in resources and donated goods to our neighbors and non-profit partners in need.
NFN Executive Director Lynne Cameron and Katy Meagher, TV Producer and New Media, are now working with community leaders on one of their most enjoyable fundraisers, “Singing With the Stars” karaoke on Wednesday, June 7th, 6 pm at Ball & Chain in Miami. Five community leaders have volunteered to sing karaoke that evening with the great hopes of their friends donating funds to be able to join them onstage:

Throughout the evening, guests can donate to the cause in the name of their favorite singer, because in this competition, it’s not who is judged the best singer, but the champion is the one who brings in the most dollars for Neighbors4Neighbors!
