– Residents and Businesses begin to return to business as usual –
The City of Miami Beach businesses are working hard to open their doors and return to business as usual. Businesses and residents both are ready and eager to welcome everyone back to take advantage of our amazing culinary offerings, nightlife, arts and culture, architecture, fashion and luxurious hotels.
City staff began working immediately as Hurricane Irma came to an end and have not stopped. All departments came together today to help with expediting clean-up efforts in our parks and with our storm drains.
More than 90 percent of Miami Beach hotels have resumed normal operations. Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, and Espanola Way businesses are open and ready to serve you lunch and dinner.
Some of the hotels in Miami Beach have stepped up to offer discounted rates, some as low as $49 per night, for residents that may not have power and need a place to go. Participating hotels can be found by visiting the City of Miami Beach website at miamibeachfl.gov.
