HalloWYN is stirring up something wild and event producers at SWARM are conjuring the most haunted and largest Halloween block party in South Florida, all while adding a little something extra for the 21-and-over crowd.
The ghostly event is happening on Halloween Night, Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Mana Wynwood. The event begins at 7 p.m. and runs into the late eerie hours on this haunted night. More than 20,000 people are set to attend this year’s free event.
“Last year HalloWYN was on a Monday and we expected 8,000 people; we were wowed when we had 15,000 people overflowing into the streets and the crowd was incredible,” said Javi Zayaz, president of SWARM. “This year we’re going bigger and better and letting the crowd take over. We’re going up on a Tuesday with the wildest Halloween party Miami has ever seen.”
No sexy vampire will go thirsty, as there will be 15 bars from which to pick your poison. Bite down on tasty treats from over 20 of the best local food vendors, enjoy cocktails all night, revel in live art, shop at the artisan market and break out into the Thriller dance with live music and entertainment from Miami’s best local deejays. Gather your crew and get ready to rage under the moonlight at HalloWYN, where the most eccentric costumes come to life. This isn’t a bunch of hocus-pocus; events are even set to include costume contests with cash prizes.
In addition to the already bone-chilling event, the ever-popular Wynwood Dome will be transformed into the Terror Dome, a 21-plus event with a 360-degree video mapping experience. Inside the terrifying dome, guests can expect to find a touch and taste bar, deejays spinning hits all night long while also enjoying some of the greatest horror movies including the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
