Miami International Mall played tribute to the vibrant and unique cultures of Central America, South America, and the Caribbean at the 13th Annual Miami International Mall Hispanic Heritage Celebration, Oct. 21.
“This dynamic celebration of Hispanic heritage was packed with fun and entertainment and we were proud to host it once again at Miami International Mall,” said Sara Valega, Area Director of Marketing, Miami International Mall. “The community and visitors enjoyed delicious food and drinks, cultural performances, live music, fashion, and country exhibits in a salute to National Hispanic Heritage Month.”
Guests got an unlimited tasting of delicious bites and beverages throughout the mall with the purchase a $5 ticket, with specialty cocktails were provided by Barcelo Rum. All proceeds from the purchased tickets benefitted local charities and the Simon Youth Foundation (SyYF).
Participating food and beverage sponsors include La Flor de La Canela, Los Ranchos, Carolina Ale House, Le Cafe Limoge, Churromania, Cafe Latino, The Knife, Decofruta, Agave Taco Bar, Ron Barcelo, and Tequesitos. Miami International Mall also thanks generous event sponsor Ocean Mazda.
The event culminated with a presentation of the up and coming group, Mix5. The winners of La Banda season two, now known as Mix5! Brian, Chris Vanny, Taishmara, Danelly, and Ario created a stir. Guests screamed and sang along with the group as they performed the closing act of the day.
