The Palace Group, South Florida’s largest privately owned operator of senior living communities, has received the highest honor from Gallup and has been awarded the prestigious 2018 Gallup Great Workplace Award.
The Palace joins such prestigious worldwide companies as Mars Incorporated, USAA, Nationwide Insurance, and Stryker Corporation in receiving this recognition. Of Gallup’s 600 worldwide clients only 39 companies and organizations were recipients of the award. In Florida only three companies received this distinction: Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, Hueman People Solutions, and The Palace.
Gallup is well-known for over 80 years of experience in exploring the attitudes and behaviors of employees, customers, students, and citizens worldwide. Their award recognizes companies that create exceptional workplaces.
Through their research they have discovered that regardless of company size, location, culture or industry, the world’s most elite organizations are devoted to one overarching goal: They have an unwavering and purposeful focus on creating a culture where their employees can perform at their best.
“It’s truly validating to receive such a prestigious award and an honor to be recognized among the top workplaces globally,” said Haim Dubitzky, vice president of Performance Excellence for The Palace Group. “We pride ourselves on being innovators and setting the highest standards for senior living. The commitment of our staff is the major reason for our success. They are passionate and creative and truly care about each other, our residents, and families we serve.
The Palace places heavy emphasis on employee training and continuing education. As a result of The Palace’s dedication, many employees enjoy long tenures at the communities. One such person is Brenda Anaya, director of Housekeeping and Laundry. Celebrating her 20th anniversary with The Palace Group in June, Anaya is one of 10 finalists for the prestigious Gallup Manager of the Year award.
The Palace Group’s award-winning services and communities serve over 1,500 residents and 1,200 employees. The Palace communities offer a continuum of care and include independent and assisted living, memory care, nursing and rehabilitation, home health and pharmacy services.
