While Guerra supports his alma mater and other NPO’s monetarily, he also give of his time and talent as a mentor and speaker.
He is currently serving as the 2018 president of the Miami Association of Realtor’s Residential Board of Governors, as vice chair of the 2018 Florida Top 50 in addition to being the 2018 chair of the National Association of Realtor’s Emerging Business and Technology Forum.
As involved as he is in his professional association’s, Guerra mentors on a regular basis from staff to students his outreach through RESF Cares allows him numerous ways to help the community. From the time he was in elementary school at St. Timothy’s and then at Christopher Columbus (Class of 1996), community service was encouraged and expected. That was a habit ingrained in him that has led to a pattern of giving of his time, talent and treasure like few others.
Guerra shares his passion for giving back through his firm’s RESF Cares “12 Months of Giving” initiative inspiring agents to give back to their community and involve themselves with a greater cause. He also shares his industry knowledge with the Latin Builder’s Association Charter School Academy and has even enlisted a Summer Internship program to inspire young students to pursue a career in the real estate arena. His list of outreach efforts includes supporting his agents’ philanthropic efforts, drives for disaster relief, and more.
He also is an annual sponsor for the Women’s Council of Realtor’s Miami-Date Chapter’s Wing-It for a Cause event, benefiting Silent Angels, a charitable organization composed of Realtors for the purpose of providing funds, supplies and services to individuals who are making a determined effort yet are financially needy or otherwise distressed.
Guerra is married to his beautiful wife, Dinorah, who is an instrumental part of RESF, and is blessed with two great children, Dominic and Alec.
