Cutler Bay officials participated in “Spotlight on South Dade: The Vision and Future of Economic Growth Opportunities” on Jan. 30. The event, hosted by the South Dade Chamber of Commerce and Essential Realty Services Inc., took place in the morning at the Seminole Theatre in Homestead.
Keynote Speakers included Cutler Bay Town Manager Rafael Casals; Homestead Mayor Steve Shelley; Florida City Mayor Otis Wallace; Charles LaPradd, Miami-Dade County agricultural manager; Miami Realtors and a representative from FPL.
The theme was: “Giving key stakeholders of this community the venue to highlight a vision and future of economic growth opportunities for investors, businesses and residents.”
Also attending were Cutler Bay Mayor Tim Meerbott and Vice Mayor Sue Ellen Loyzelle, supporting and encouraging attendees to consider growth within Cutler Bay and neighboring municipalities. Miami-Dade County Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava was also a participant of the event.
“It gives us great pride and honor to be involved in a district that cares deeply for its residents and their quality of life,” said town manager Rafael G. Casals afterward. “Residents can feel confident in knowing their elected officials are working together to make South Dade a great place to live, work and play.”
