Jennifer Wollmann — a venerated Realtor-Associate with EWM Realty International, one of the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerages and an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway — has been installed as the 2019 president of the Miami Realtors Association’s Miami Commercial Board. The announcement was made by Teresa King Kinney, CEO of the Miami Association of Realtors.

Wollmann’s more than two decades of real estate experience, as well as her numerous leadership positions in the real estate community, have made her a dedicated industry advocate and a market resource for customers and Realtors alike. In addition to currently serving as vice chair of the Florida Realtors’ Attainable and Workforce Housing Committee, she is on the board of directors for both the Florida and National Association of Realtors.

In her new role with the Miami Commercial Board, Wollmann will continue to bolster the organization’s visibility and growth.

“It is an honor to be serving this wonderful organization and representing our real estate community through such an exciting new role,” Wollmann said. “For years, Miami Realtors, which has nearly 50,000 members across South Florida, has played a major part in promoting our community as a great place to live, work and invest. They have done so by building relationships between real estate associations and professionals around the world, as well as with local, state and national leaders, trade organizations and community institutions.

“I look forward to continuing that tradition of excellence with all of our newly installed leaders, especially our chairman of the board, Jose Maria Serrano. They are an incredible group of talented professionals who are passionate about giving back to their communities.”

Wollmann, who moved to South Florida nearly 30 years ago from the San Francisco Bay area, was raised in South America.

Enmeshed in the local community, she is an active volunteer and makes it her responsibility to be up-to-date on legislative issues. In addition to her current leadership positions, Wollmann, who has a background in business and environmental science, previously served on the Miami-Dade County Public School’s Site Selection, Planning, and Construction Committee; the Florida Realtors’ Smart Growth Committee; the Grievance Committee for the Realtor Association of Miami, and the Village of Pinecrest’s Planning Board and Transportation Master Plan Steering Committee.
