At a recent Aventura Marketing Council Board of Directors meeting hosted by Sabadell United Bank, military involvement with the business community was on the agenda as Peter Caspari Employer Outreach Chair for South Florida for the Dept. of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), shared the goals of his organization.
As one of the nation’s leading supporters of the ESGR, the Aventura Marketing Council has been invited to participate in a number of military exercises and events, such as parachute jumps with the US Army Golden Knights, a VIP visit to the shuttle launch and the Grand Prix Race. With each experience, AMC members gained a greater understanding of the importance of the business community employing returning service members of the National Guard and Reserve.
