Miami-Dade County Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava will speak at the UNA Talks: Access and Inclusion for Gender Equality in Miami, a community discussion featuring a presentation on the United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women, on Thursday, June 13, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Venture Café Miami, 1951 NW 7th Ave.
The event organized by the United Nations Association Miami Chapter will include a roundtable discussion chaired by local leaders from the public and private sector. Topics will range from improving public services and access to social protection systems, to creating sustainable infrastructure in Miami and promoting greater gender equality and empowerment.
